Católica Porto Business School’s S.Lab (Service Management Lab) will host a seminar led by Martin Spring of TiPS, focussing on the theme of AI-based technologies in law and accounting.
AI-based technologies offer great potential benefits for law and accounting firms. But many firms, especially mid-tier and smaller, have been reluctant to adopt them. Based on the findings from the Technology in Professional Services (TiPS) innovation adoption accelerator in the United Kingdom, the seminar will explore some ways of thinking about potential application areas for these technologies, identify benefits – both intended and unanticipated – and explore the challenges of adoption from an organisational perspective.
