In an era where digital transformation is not just a buzzword but a business imperative, our new major research project, Technology in Professional Services (TiPS) Accelerator, is seeking to help accountancy and law firms to accelerate digital technological adoption. We are calling for Expressions of Interest from mid-tier and smaller accounting and law firms, keen to innovate and thrive in the digital age. This is more than an invitation; it’s a gateway to the future of professional services.

What is TiPS?

Technology in Professional Services (TiPS) is a groundbreaking initiative designed to assist mid-tier and smaller accounting and law firms in navigating the complex world of digital technology. Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to foster innovation, simplify technology adoption, and generate valuable insights that benefit the professional services sector as a whole.

TiPS is tailored for firms at various stages of digital adoption. Whether you’re just starting to consider the potential of technology, or you’ve already taken some steps towards digital transformation, TiPS is here to guide you. Our focus is particularly on those firms that are contemplating technology adoption but are uncertain about which technologies to adopt, how to effectively implement them, and most importantly, the benefits they can bring to your practice.

The TiPS Paths

As we approach the 7th of December deadline for submitting expressions of interest, it’s crucial for firms to understand the distinct paths offered by Technology in Professional Services (TiPS).

Path A is focused on Microsoft 365 and caters to those seeking online training and support in pilot applications, where TiPS funds and guides multi-firm groups through the entire process, from conception to conclusion.

Path B, on the other hand, offers a more holistic package. This includes diagnostic advice, masterclasses, mentoring, and peer-group learning activities, allowing participants to implement projects within their firms while regularly convening as a cohort, both online and in person. This path also presents an opportunity for firms to apply for funding to kick-start their technology adoption, covering essentials like software licenses or specialised technical advice.

Lastly, Path C emphasises a tailored approach, adapting the nature of the projects and support to the specific needs and circumstances of each firm. This flexibility ensures that every firm, regardless of its starting point in digital adoption, finds a pathway that aligns with its unique journey towards technological advancement.

Submit Interest

Innovation is not just about keeping up with the times; it’s about setting the pace for the future.

With the deadline looming ever-closer, we are urging you to submit your expression of interest before it’s too late – with TiPS, your firm has the opportunity to be at the forefront of digital transformation in professional services. We encourage you to express your interest and join us in shaping a more innovative, efficient, and client-focused future.
