AI Adoption: From Optional to Essential

12:00 - 14:00 22 September 2026

Convened by AI West in partnership with Bristol Law Society, Bristol and Bath Legal Tech and ICAEW West of England.

The conversation around AI in professional services has moved on from whether firms should adopt it. The challenge now is deciding what to adopt first, what it costs and how to measure whether it is working.

This session will look at what TiPS has learned from working directly with small and mid-sized law and accountancy firms across the UK.

What we’ll cover

  • What has worked in law and accountancy firms, and what has not
  • Where firms can lose money during adoption
  • What the UKJT statement means for supervising AI use
  • A free online resource developed from three years of working with professional services firms

Who it’s for

Partners, fee earners and innovation leads at small and mid-sized law firms and accountancy practices. No technical background required.
